Reunited after 10 years

Though it has been over 10 years, it took less than 10 seconds for Selina Akhter to recognise her father on Friday. As the 35-year-old embraced Ayub Hossain, tears continued to roll down her eyes. But those were not of grief, but rather happiness -- to be able to reunite with her father after such a long time. Ayub, now 55, left home after becoming mentally unstable. Ayub of village Angorpara under Jhikorgacha upazila of Jashore wanted to go abroad for work and sold a piece of land in this regard. But due to some family issues, he was not able to do so.
