Relief distributed in starving Bandarban village after Star report

The local administration distributed government relief to the remote Kapru Para of Bandarban's Lama upazila this evening after The Daily Star ran a report on the matter titled "Acute food crisis hits village in Bandarban". Nur-E- Jannat, upazila nirbahi officer of Lama upazila, said after seeing the report, they sent relief for the 49 families in the area. [related
