A brace from Matin Mia ensured Bangladesh a semifinal berth in the Bangabandhu Gold Cup with an emphatic 3-0 win over Sri Lanka in their last Group A fixture at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday. The hosts, who finished runners-up in the group behind defending champions Palestine, will face Burundi in the second semifinal on January 23.
