Rifat murder: Minni denied bail

A Barguna court today rejected the bail petition of Aysha Siddika Minni in connection with the murder of her husband Rifat Sharif. Senior Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Sirajul Islam Gazi passed the order after hearing the bail petition filed by Baruna Bar council general secretary advocate Mahbubbul Bari Aslam on behalf of Minni. Two lawyers of Rights organisation Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) Abdur Rashid and Mizanur Rahman also stood for Minni during the hearing, Mahbubbul Bari Aslam told our Patuakhali correspondent.
