Eid advance bus ticket from May 17

Private bus operators will start selling advance tickets from May 17 for home-goers ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr. The decision was taken at a meeting of Bangladesh Bus Truck Owners Association today, Romesh Chandra Ghosh, chairman of the association, told The Daily Star today. “Tickets would be sold out from the morning on the day at the rate fixed by the government and there is no scope of charging extra money for the ticket on the occasion of the Eid,” he said.
