Soumya notches record sixes

Soumya Sarkar broke the record for most number of sixes in an innings in Bangladesh’s List A cricket as he destroyed Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club’s bowling attack at BKSP’s Savar. Soumya is currently batting on 167 and has struck 15 sixes so far. The previous record for the most number of sixes in an innings stood at 11 -- a record shared by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Soumya Sarkar himself and Saif Hassan.
