101 raped, 62 women killed in June: Mahila Parishad

Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) today said there were 308 reports of torture and sexual violence against women in the month of June. There were 101 rape incidents -- 69 were raped, 25 gang-raped, and 7 were murdered after rape -- according to data collected from reports published in 14 national newspapers. According to a report of the rights organisation, 62 women were killed
