Watch: Mithila's horror short film

Popular actor Rafiath Rashid Mithila released a short film, The Forgotten One, on her YouTube on May 1. The spooky one and a half minute short features herself and her daughter Ayra. Mithila plays the role of a mother working from home in the dead of night. The story and concept is by actor Iresh Zaker.

Iresh Zaker told Dhaka Tribune Showtime:"We were looking for a story that could be done at home, without involving a professional crew. So, we made this from a two line short story... We will make an anthology with more content like this."

Mithila is currently the Head of Early Childhood Development programme in BRAC International. She recently starred in a web series, Ekattor, which was released on March 26.
