Responsibility

  • The Asia Foundation (the Foundation) is looking for skilled and ambitious candidates to serve as the Dhaka-based Technical Advisor - Capacity Building & Policy Advocacy for the 2016-2021 "Women`s Economic Empowerment through Strengthening Market Systems" (WEESMS) project funded by the Embassy of Sweden and implemented by the Foundation in partnership with International Development Enterprises (iDE). WEESMS aims to i) increase the number of women entrepreneurs and growth of women-led SMEs, ii) improve women`s access to formal and informal employment opportunities, and iii) increase retention rates of women already in the labor market across the 2-4 targeted sectors.
  • Reports to: Deputy Team Leader, WEESMS Project (The Asia Foundation)

    • Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in international development, economics, political science, or a relevant social science discipline. Bachelor's Degree with demonstrated relevant experience of at least 6-7 years may be substituted.
