The MEAL Coordinator will provide thematic leadership, guidance, and overall direction on the planning and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and supervision activities for the UNHCR funded project of Light House.

The MEAL Coordinator will be reportable to the Team Leader of the Project and will play a key consultative role for project office and all drop-In-center based staffs, on the issues related toM&E of SRH services. The Officer shall provide leadership and technical expertise in strategic information for the performance monitoring and analysis; program level data gathering/validation; trend monitoring and reporting; etc.

The MEAL Coordinator will exercise extensive independent judgment in planning and carrying out tasks, developing consensus among team, management agencies, donors, representing Light House in critical technical and policy fora, resolving problems and conflicts, and in meeting deadlines.

The position holder will have to perform inherently project office functions such as relevant budgeting, developing planning documents, and reporting in coordination with focal persons of Quality Assurance, Program Management and Finance.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of MS Office Packages including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Photoshop etc and master skilled in working on digital platforms. Strong drafting skills in English and Bangla is a must.

The position is based in Project Coordination Office and the post holder have to travel to project locations in Teknaf, Ukhia and Cox’s Bazar Sadar using local public transports.
