Water recedes, diseases spread

As floodwater started receding across the country, different kinds of waterborne diseases have begun spreading in some districts. Many people are suffering from diarrhoea, skin diseases, dysentery, cholera and other waterborne diseases. Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) has said there was no possibility of the flood to linger.
