Khulna jute mill workers suspend strike

Workers of nine state-owned jute mills in Khulna region suspended their indefinite strike today after getting assurance that their demands would be met. Jashore-Khulna region Jute Mill Workers League Convener Murad Hossain made the announcement in the afternoon after meeting senior Bangladesh Jute Mill Corporation (BJMC) officials and the district administration.
