The directive came on a public interest litigation that alleged the land was allotted by violating rules, regulations and policies The apex court of the Indian state of West Bengal on Monday quashed a land allotment made to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Sourav Ganguly by the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation, reported Live Law.The land was allotted in the New Town area in North 24 Parganas district for setting up an educational institution.
