An approach that involves the whole world

It is global cooperation that is at the heart of all possible strategies
Covid-19 continues to rage across the world and despite vaccination efforts, plenty of nations -- particularly developing ones -- continue to struggle with regard to curbing it. 


With that in mind, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has correctly identified the need for collective effort from the whole of society in order to have a chance to mitigate the adverse impact the pandemic has had -- and will continue to have -- on global economies. 


The PM put forward six salient points for a post-pandemic recovery, not just for Bangladesh, but for the entire world to follow. There is sound reasoning and logic employed in these six points -- which include addressing a wide spectrum of issues, from climate change to migrant workers to global equity, and it would do well for the world to pay heed to her words.
