Foreign Direct Investment to Bangladesh declined by 11% in 2020

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in Bangladesh has declined by about 11 per cent to $2.6 billion in 2020. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) today revealed the information in its World Investment Report 2021. The FDI was $2.87 billion in 2019. According to the report, the FDI of all the South Asian countries except India has declined.
