Man shot dead in Bandarban

A man was shot dead in Bandarban's remote Rowangchhari upazila today, said Bandarban police. The victim was identified as Omar Faruq, 65, an imam of a local mosque, said Jerin Akther, superintendent of Bandarban district police. "The imam was shot dead while he was going to the mosque around 9:10pm," said the SP, adding that the victim may have been from the Tripura community
