7 charged with looting 20kg gold from Benapole Customs House

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) submitted charge sheet against seven people, including five suspended assistant revenue officers, in a case filed over looting 20 kg gold from Benapole Customs House in 2019. Sirajul Islam, an inspector of CID and also the investigation officer of the case, submitted the charge sheet yesterday, reports our Benapole correspondent.
