ED: Bracing for Yaas

The Ministry of Water Resources has issued eight directives to respond to the approaching cyclonic storm
ith Cyclone Yaas closing in on Bangladesh, it is good to see that the authorities concerned are not underestimating the potential damage this storm could do to the country, and instead are taking a pro-active approach to prepare for it. Bangladesh is not new in dealing with natural disasters. Because of climate change, Bangladesh continues to rank as among the most vulnerable countries in the world, and as such, we will unfortunately continue to be hit hard by floods, cyclones, and other natural disasters.
