ED: A cause for alarm

Take effective steps to ensure that the new virulent strains of coronavirus do not come into Bangladesh
While the government has listened to concerns and closed our border with India -- which is currently being devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic -- we must understand that the very nature of the virus is such that there are more ways than one in which it can re-enter our country.

The entirety of South Asia is being affected by the Indian strain, and a concerning example of this is Nepal, which is seeing an alarming rise in Covid-19 cases, now recording 57 times as many as it did a month ago.
