Covid-19 daily casualties hit new high of 96

Although the daily rate of Covid-19 infections seems to have gone down slightly, from being 7,201 on April 12 to 5,185 on April 14, the situation does not seem very promising yet, as the latter date still saw 96 deaths caused by the virus, the highest in a single day in the country. Of the 96 deceased, 59 were men and 37 women. The majority of the dead were elderly people over the age of 60 years. It is true that the "strict lockdown" only began on Wednesday.
