All bank branches, except for a few ones, to remain closed: BB

Bangladesh Bank today evening said all the branches of banks, except for those dealing with overseas trade, will remain closed during the upcoming restrictions on movement for the ongoing pandemic. The circular came amid confusion among bankers and commoners after the cabinet division issued a gazette notification in the afternoon related to the banks' closure.
