AL picks runners for 25 municipal elections

The ruling Awami League yesterday picked its candidates for mayoral elections to 25 pourasavas. The names of the contenders were finalised at a meeting of the party's Local Government Nomination Board, held at the Gono Bhaban with AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
