Noted poet and filmmaker Tokon Shaakoor was arrested at night yesterday (October 25). According to latest reports, he was unable to submit the government granted film, "Kaata", on time. As a result, a case was filed against him by the Ministry of Information. S M Kaium, OC of the New Market Police Station, has confirmed his arrest to The Daily Star over the phone.
