Mirzapur Season 2 Review: Fires On All Cylinders But In A More Controlled Manner

Blood feuds in the lawless boondocks is a formula gone fetid. Yet Mirzapur S2 hits the ground running. The makers dip into their quiver and pull out everything that that is in there. But does it all come together? Not quite.

The tussle for the throne that belongs to Akhandanand Tripathi a.k.a. Kaleen Bhaiyya, despite a slew of full-bodied performances, isn't exactly a pulsating, heart-stopping affair. Only an inveterate fan will find the show worth the nine hours it demands. This critic isn't one.
