I picked up Lori Gottlieb's Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2019) while trying to find a good therapist in this dreary land. There was the senior celebrity therapist who advised me to "console" myself; and then moved on to spend the rest of the session speaking of her travails as a senior citizen.
