IF distributes zakat among 250 destitute people in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, May 18, 2020 (BSS) – Islamic Foundation district unit distributed Zakat from government’s Zakat fund among 250 destitute people. Deputy Commissioner Syeda Farhana Kawnine handed over the Zakat at a simple function held on the premises of Narsingdi Islamic Foundation office on Sunday. Office sources said a total of Tk 7, 50,000 were distributed among 250 poor people including a number of poor imams of the mosques, teachers of mass education and destitute men and women of the district.
