Responsibility

  • Ensures the nursing of the patient and provides the health care within the hospital working on a 24 hours care roster. Shifts will include overnights.
  • Responsibility to initiate emergency treatment, stabilization of patients and ensuring adequate patient monitoring in all medical departments.
  • Is responsible for dressing of wounds, minor injuries, skin infections and administrating drugs as prescribed by the consultants.
  • Is responsible for assisting in the transfer of sick patients to hospital as requested by hospital doctor and the safe handover of patient.
  • Is responsible for maintaining excellent infection control standards in the hospital.
  • Attend the admitted patient.
  • Responsible for providing quality first aid support to the injured peoples.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor in Nursing from a Government Nursing College or University .
