Responsibility

  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual projections, quarterly budget, projecting monthly cash flows, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
  • Ensure all accounting posting into ERP to close monthly Accounts in stipulated time
  • Co-ordinate daily reconciliations with regional accounts and supervise the same in central accounts in Dhaka to finalize the monthly financial statements timely manner
  • Ensure monthly reconciliations in time
  • Processing of bills following budget, Approval Note and others from other respective departments and arrange payment as per approvals.
  • Follow up reports and ensure the incidental recovery amounts from the insurance companies. Prepare & Maintain insurance Schedule Report.
  • Appropriate Management of Company funds and report to Management from time to time.
  • Ensure different sources of income and deposit & process accordingly as per accounting procedures.
  • Keep the entire financial documents, deeds, and agreements in safe custody for further reference.
  • Ensure proper documentation for daily transactions and arrange related approvals from Management.
  • Ensure timely Daily, Monthly and Yearly report for Management and Board of Directors.
  • Liaison with Bank, Insurance companies, external Audit firms, Financial Institutions, and different govt. offices and NBR local authorities etc.
  • To ensure timely payment of all Suppliers, Bank installments, Staff salaries, utility bills, and any other payments.
  • Finalization of monthly, quarterly & yearly Financial Statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Ensure monthly submission of VAT return, withholding tax return, statement of salary tax deduction, half-yearly TDS return and yearly salary statement to comply with NBR regulations.
  • Determining cost optimization technique and applying it to optimize cost.
  • Planning and execution of the Tax & VAT management system with a proper understanding of the business nature of the company so that the company can be tax-efficient and tax compliant.
  • Ensure all the statutory compliance as per Income Tax Ordinance 1984, VAT & SD Act, 2012 & and other rules and regulations.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
