Responsibility

  • To review land related documents for preparing land report/vetting/opinion before purchasing/signing of related agreements.
  • Verify authenticity of land documents through concerned land related offices. Sound knowledge on Mouza Map and other land related issues.
  • Sound knowledge on mutation related works involved with RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works, AC Land office along with the Foreign Ministry.
  • Proper knowledge on approval process of Power of Attorney (POA) acceptance from RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works along with Foreign POA attestation and authentication from Foreign Ministry & DC office as well as demarcation, unification and construction permission from RAJUK, National Housing Authority, Ministry of Works etc.
  • Ensure Land use permission/TP Clearance, Estate Clearance, SPA/SPC from RAJUK as well as NOC collection: SPA/SPC of RAJUK, CAAB, and Fire Service & Civil Defense.
  • To look after and complete land/agreement registration process with concerned Sub-registry office.
  • Ensure timely obtaining of Occupancy Certificate from concerned authority.
  • Devising contracts with agents, partners, or clients as per the laws.
  • Providing legal assistance to the Human Resources team for employment matters and contract to draft for employment and other related matters.
  • Preparing and sending legal notices to default clients, filing of legal or civil cases against defaulting payments.
  • Preserving the company's IP assets such as trademarks, copyrights, patents, brand names (registrations and renewals), etc.
  • Coordinating with Legal Consultants or liaisoning agencies for legal cases and dispute resolutions.
  • Coordinating with the management for consultation and strategic direction with compliance related to contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.
  • Providing legal assistance to functional/department heads and managing leadership in developing agreements, communications, and policies.
  • Must have the capacity to manage all sorts of activities of Legal Department.
  • Proven leadership capacity.
  • Sound knowledge on English.
  • Qualifications

  • LL.B/ LL.M from a University recognized by the Bar Standards Board
