This role is concerned with improving the efficiency and profitability of the manufactured products. Product & Process Development Managers need to understand and control the processes used to make a diverse range of products. Working as a member of RDI, this role will aim to optimize the performance of manufacturing systems. This will be done by identifying and developing new processes for product manufacture, and implementing process controls to ensure the products are of high quality and produced in a way that can be accurately replicated. Working as a member in product development, he will develop new ideas and will aid the manufacture of new products and improve existing ones.
