Govt does not like it either

Echoing voice with the High Court, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said that the government did not like the extrajudicial killing. “The home ministry has made the incident of Nayan Bond’s killing clear describing it as encounter. Encounter and crossfire are not similar. We do not like extrajudicial killings,” Quader said while addressing a press conference at Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office. Earlier, the HC said that the law enforcers must be more careful so that extrajudicial killings do not take place.
