ED: Listen to the experts

There could be a surge in Covid cases following Eid festivities
It is encouraging to see that the number of deaths from the second wave of Covid-19 have been going down. Experts agree that the lockdowns were the principal reason to contain the spread of the virus, and credit once again must be given to the government for taking the difficult but timely decision. 

However, to become complacent now would be a grave error. Bangladesh as a nation can’t afford the scale of atrocity that is going on across the world, especially in our neighbouring country of India, and any misstep could threaten all the progress we have made as a result of the lockdowns.
