Kapil Dev suffers heart attack, undergoes surgery

Legendary Indian cricketer and captain of the 1983 World Cup winning team, Kapil Dev, suffered a heart attack today. The 61-year-old former cricketer-turned-pundit underwent angioplasty at a hospital following the incident in New Delhi, reports our New Delhi correspondent. He is reported to have been dealing with long-standing diabetes-related health issues.
