Sangram chief reporter sent to jail after arrest yesterday

A Dhaka court today sent daily Sangram Chief Reporter Ruhul Amin Gazi, also president of a faction of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), to jail, a day after he was arrested in a sedition case. Metropolitan Magistrate Debdash Chandra Adhikary passed the order after rejecting his bail petition in the case. Ruhul Amin Gazi was produced before the court by Hatirjheel
