Dhaka elections: No motorcycles on polls day

The Election Commission (EC) has imposed restrictions on the movement of vehicles during the upcoming Dhaka city corporation elections on Feb 1.
No motorcycles will be permitted in electoral areasfrom 12:00am on Jan 31 until 6:00pm on Feb 2. There will also be a ban on auto-rickshaws, taxicabs, microbuses, jeeps, pickups, buses, trucks and other passenger vehicles between 12:00 am and 6:00 pm on Feb 1, reports bdnews24.com. The election commission has directed the Road Transport and Highways Division to implement the restrictions.
