As we move towards middle-income status as a nation and our economy expands and diversifies to incorporate a broad range of industries, we will undoubtedly require more advanced technologies to cope with their increasing demands, especially when it comes to power and energy.  

In this regard, the government’s most recent signing of a financing agreement with the French Development Agency (AFD) is welcome and, in fact, necessary in order to incorporate more effective and efficient digital solutions in our power and energy sectors.
